The niho or tooth form is a common traditional pendant form in New Zealand jade, and represents the hunter, the provider or the person of authority. This niho is carved from a gorgeous piece of pale-toned flower jade taken from the Arahura River, and features patches of bright grey-green, pale whitish flower, some yellow flower and a few fine seams of chatoyancy running through its back.

Measuring in at 73mm long and 48mm wide, it has been polished to a high lustre that makes it both a striking and a stand-out piece that's sure to compliment any formal or evening wear and draw plenty of attention.
