Rendered unusual by its more rounded upper edge, this niho or tooth pendant has been carved from a flower jade of a lovely inanga hue found in the Arahura River. Measuring in at 51mm long and 36mm wide, we opted for a himotoshi or hidden hole suspension for this piece in order to better show off its clean face and even tones without the cord visually getting in the way. Its pale blue-grey tones allow it to blend well with almost any outfit.
