A simplistic pendant of naturalistic form, this lovely trigonal piece of jade was shaped from a pebble found by our carver in a small West Coast stream on one of their many stone-sourcing trips. A dark kawakawa with some visually-striking patterns to the rear of the stone, this simple form practically shaped itself as it was being worked.
 
Measuring in at 62mm long and 53mm wide at itsa widest point, this jade shingle is slender enough in profile to be very lightweight despite its size. Its rich, dark hues make it a great contrast piece for lighter outfits, yet also allow it to disappear in a nice understated fashion when worn with darker business or formal wear. Its very light weight makes it a comfortable piece for everyday wear.
