Well-known in local jade carving circles for the schistose, layered shingles of jade commonly found there, this piece of stone comes from the Griffin Creek deposit of New Zealand's West Coast. A thin shingle of stone that sports strong flower patterns, it's extremely lightweight for its otherwise significant size - so it's a piece that's guaranteed to draw notice, yet without feeling too heavy about its wearer's neck.

Measuring in at 77mm long and 56mm wide with only a 5mm thickness at its thickest point, this piece is a natural shingle-form with stunning presence.
