Many natural jade stones showcase a wide range of colours within a single larger stone, allowing pieces of strikingly dissimilar appearance to be carved from the same stone. In some cases, a small pebble will showcase a similar diversity, being as multi-hued in its small size as most large and highly variable boulders.
