Many natural jade stones showcase a wide range of colours within a single larger stone, allowing pieces of strikingly dissimilar appearance to be carved from the same stone. In some cases, a small pebble will showcase a similar diversity, being as multi-hued in its small size as most large and highly variable boulders. This pebble shows off creamy, wave-like patterns on a base of lighter olive-greens, with specled patches adding a striking contrast on both sides of the pendant.

Measuring in at 80mm long and only 32mm wide at its widest point, this pendant has been carved to follow the natural flows and curves in the structure of the jade. This has produced a mid-sized, lightweight piece suitable for the wear of most people - one that has a pleasing, naturalistic formthat accentuates the stone's colouration and natural patterning. A piece that you seem to see more in, the harder and more frequently you look.
